Actor Lee Min Ho Proves Immense Popularity with Success of Chinese Mini Drama “One LINE Love" ♥
Hallyu star Lee Min Ho’s mini drama “One LINE Love” is a huge hit in China.
“One LINE Love” is a three part promotional series for the mobile messenger app LINE. All three parts were recently revealed through China’s VOD (video-on-demand) site IQiyi and recorded a total of over 20 million views within three days of its release.
The 15-minute episodes depict a story of a female Chinese tourist who goes to Korea and falls in love with a man. Due to their language barrier, the two people use the mobile messenger app LINE to communicate with one another. In the story, Lee Min Ho plays the role of Min Ho, a music producer with both talent and good looks. Taiwanese actress, Bea Hayden, plays the role of the Chinese tourist named Ling Ling. The drama is being praised for its aesthetic experience and dreamy atmosphere, as it was filmed in various areas of Seoul, including the Namsan Tower and Incheon Airport.

International Hallyu star Lee Min Ho (27) recently modeled the Korean search engine site Naver's global messenger "Line" for China. "Line" filmed a promotional mini drama called " One Line Love." Lee Min Ho in a recent interview talked about his thoughts on filming with the Chinese actress Ling Ling, and filming with the dog, Brown.
"Because it was a commercial drama, Ling Ling and I did not have that many scenes together. But we were pretty compatible. It was also fun to converse with her using the "Line" emoticons on the phone," Lee Min Ho said. He also added his relationship with his dog in the drama, Brown. "I like dogs. When you watch me in the drama, I have clenched fists and it's because I was holding Brown's snacks, which made him love me more."
The mini drama "One Line Love" tells a story of a female Chinese tourist who visits Korea running into a Korean man. The story shows how the two main characters that do not speak each other's languages, communicate through the Naver's mobile messenger Line. Lee Min Ho in the mini drama plays Min Ho, who meets Ling Ling, a Chinese tourist, while taking a walk in the park with his dog. Ling Ling runs into him at the park. They keep in touch with each other using Naver's "line," and start to fall for each other. After exchanging messages and video chats, Lee Min Ho decides to serenade his love for her playing the piano.

Lee Min Ho was happy to take time out from filming his drama, The Heirs (also called The Inheritors), to reunite with his Bench family. His dog, Choco, even tagged along and joined the shoot.
Lee Min Ho’s top summer picks include hybrid button-downs embellished with a variety of prints and textures, graphic tees, and classic raglan tops. Slim chino pants, pastel denim, and dark skinnies are his top favorites.
